I need to translate some documents for a project, and I have never hired a translator before. Since everything is online now, I am wondering how people find someone they can trust without meeting them first. I have been thinking about whether to hire a professional translator online. Has anyone done this? What did you check before sending your documents? I am especially curious about communication and whether the translator asked questions when a sentence or phrase was unclear.
